Sandplay Certification Programs
Services offered:
- Sandplay Personal Process (Individual Sandplay Therapy), which includes a 40 session minimum requirement for STA/ISST certification as a Certified Sandplay Therapist (CST) or Certified Sandplay Therapist – Teaching Member
- Seminars, Workshops and Conferences addressing Sandplay Theory & Practice for the requirement of completing 120 coursework hours in the following:
1. Introduction to Sandplay Therapy
(18 hours required)
2. Clinical Practice (48 hours required)
3. Jungian Theory (18 hours required)
4. Symbolism (18 hours required)
- Individual & Group Sandplay Consultation which fulfills STA/ISST credit hours towards the 75 hour requirement
(25 individual Consultation hours must be with a Teaching Member of STA; both Dr. Pastore and Dr. Heiko offer these hours in Mooresville and Cary, respectively)
- Reader for Preliminary Papers for STA/ISST certification
- Registered Play Therapy Supervisor available to provide supervision toward the 50 hour requirement for Registered Play Therapist. Supervision with Karen Wheeler is available in North Carolina or by telephone using video taped sessions. Contact Ms. Wheeler regarding availability and rates at playtherapist@bellsouth.net.
